Below are some products I found helpful while undergoing 2 ESGs, then a Sleeve Gastrectomy. I will update this list of products as I think of them.
Protein Powder. This is a must, especially during the full liquid phase. The Isopure Tahitian Vanilla is the only one I’ve found that tastes good, without being overly-sweet, and without having artificial sweeteners like aspartame. I still use this one today, but I use it in recipes more than I drink it. After 3 rounds of a liquid diet, I no longer have the desire to ever drink another protein shake again!
Chewable mutlivitamin (that doesn’t taste like a chalky foot). After buying a couple that tasted like feet, i finally found this EZ Melts brand that was much better!
Water bottle. I swear I am the pickiest person ever when it comes to water bottles. I don’t like room temperature water, so it has to be a thermal bottle. I despise washing things by hand, so it has to be dishwasher safe. It also has to be large and have a place for a straw, but it can’t be so large it won’t fit in my cup holder in my car. It also had to have a handle because the really large bottles are too large for me to hold one handed. Picky, I know. I finally found one that fit all the criteria. This 40oz Reduce Insulated Tumber with a handle. I’ve been using it exclusively for about 2 years now while about 50 other water bottles that I don’t use take up room in my cupboard. It’s dishwasher safe, and also has a straw holder, plus a skinnier bottom (so it fits in my cup holder). I just ordered another one recently so I can have one to use while the other is in the dishwasher.
A Food Processor/Blender. For the liquid and pureed stages, this is a must. I have this Ninja one that has both the processor and blender parts. I liked it so much most of my other kitchen items ended up being Ninja.
*Some products are amazon associate links. However, I have personally used all of these products myself (unless clearly noted).
