This video was helpful to me because it shows the more technical side of doing an ESG. I think this is important to see because it shows how it is not a “foolproof” tool, and going to the right doctor is very important.

I watched this video live when I was about 2-3 weeks out with my original ESG. The doctor performing this ESG is Dr. McGowan (who is performing the revision to my original ESG in January 2020). I thought it was really neat to see what the surgeon is looking at. Plus, he answers questions from people watching while he’s doing the procedure.
