I’m still in pain (and really sleepy), but don’t really have much nausea. So far I’ve eaten a few sips of Powerade 0, several ounces of water, 2oz of gelatin, and about 2oz of bone broth. I do feel some discomfort when eating so I’m definitely not eating much at all. Just focusing on water and broth for hydration. The warmth of the broth seems to feel good, but cold things do not sit as well. I also find the pains come in waves. I change position quite a bit to try to stay comfortable. I’ve been walking around some and sitting up as well, and that seems to help sometimes. I also found that it’s less painful to lay on my right side than my left.
TIP: I have found myself asking my husband lots of questions as to what the doctor said to me post-procedure. Everything is such a blur that I would remember bits and pieces, but then couldn’t figure out if it was a dream or real life, even though I was the one asking the questions. I highly recommend someone being there post-procedure to take notes.
