The device used to do both my ESGs was the Apollo Overstitch. Here are some pictures of the inside of my own stomach after the first failed ESG. The blue line is the loose stitch, and the other gold looking things are the anchors.
I have an Esophagram on March 10th to try to see what is leftover from my second ESG. The location of the anchors left (if any) will determine whether or not I am able to have any future bariatric surgery. Needless to say, I’m nervous about the results.
