I can’t remember where I first heard this quote (it was a very long time ago). Being a perfectionist myself, it really hit home.
It took a long time before I realized that weight loss isn’t about doing things “perfect”. And aiming for perfection is just setting ourselves up for a percieved “failure” when life happens, or we have one weak moment. What’s more important is that we persist towards our goal, not be “perfect”.
Persistence NOT perfection!
