Diet: Full Liquids
Feeling a lot better today. Pain is still there, but fading. Burping still hurts the most. I didn’t need my pain medication yet today. I’m still weak and tired (partly from lack of calories I’m sure). The full 4 weeks of liquids is going to be tough, but I think it’s just a matter of finding enough variety that is also healthy. I won’t be driving through McDonalds and picking up a milkshake, even though that’s technically a “full liquid”. I’m trying to keep it high protein/low sugar as best I can. I also am gluten free and don’t consume aspartame, so it makes it a little more difficult for me.
Tip: Get some collagen protein powder and mix it in with soups and drinks for some extra protein. It dissolves nicer than other proteins and can be put into hot liquids.
